Why It Shoots Well

Built for camera, not just for guests.

Most house locations fight you: dark corners, low ceilings, one usable angle per room. This one was renovated with light and sightlines in mind, which means fewer resets, less grip, and more setups per day.

☀️

Natural light all day

Oversized windows on multiple exposures give you soft key from morning through golden hour — plus dappled forest light you can't rig. Minimal artificial setup needed for lifestyle and editorial work.

🌴

Forest & lake backdrops

Pines out every window and Lake Gregory minutes away. Interiors read "cabin," exteriors read "mountain West" — useful when a script needs somewhere that isn't obviously Los Angeles.

🎨

Neutral editorial palette

Warm woods, clean walls, layered textures. It styles in either direction — rustic or elevated modern — and photographs cleanly without heavy set dressing.

🖼️

Many looks, one address

Living room, kitchen, dining, three bedrooms, a loft, a game room, two balconies and a garage. Enough distinct environments to shoot a campaign or a short without a company move.

🚗

Easy crew access

Street-level entry, roller garage door for gear, three on-site spots, and additional parking nearby. Load-in is minutes, not a production in itself.

🕑

Any call time

Open 24 hours, seven days a week. Pre-dawn blue hour, a six-hour half day, or a straight 12-hour production day — all on the table.

Location FAQ

Before you book the day.

How far is the location from Los Angeles?

About 75 minutes from central LA and roughly 90 from most Westside production hubs, via I-210 to CA-18. It's a comfortable same-day round trip for crew — no overnight required, though the cabin sleeps 8 if you'd rather stay.

What does it cost to shoot here?

$165 per hour with a 6-hour minimum for crews up to five — so a half day is $990 and a full 12-hour production day is $1,980. Crews of six to fifteen are $225 per hour, from $1,350. Overtime is billed hourly at the same rate. Multi-day, repeat-client and off-season rates are quoted on request.

How large a crew can you hold?

Eight is the comfortable working number — that's what the parking, power and floor space genuinely support. The listing accepts up to fifteen at the larger-crew rate. Above fifteen, message first so parking and neighbour notice can be arranged.

Is there parking and load-in access?

Three on-site spots plus a roller-door garage, with street-level access for carts and cases. Additional crew parking is available nearby in Crestline.

Can we shoot overnight or start before sunrise?

Yes — the location is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Blue hour, golden hour, and overnight interiors are all fair game.

What about power, WiFi, and restrooms?

Standard household circuits throughout with electricity usage permitted, WiFi across the property, and two and a half bathrooms available to cast and crew. Bring a genny if you're running serious HMI loads.

Does the location change with the seasons?

Considerably — and that's a feature. Green pines and lake activity in summer, real fall color in October and November, and genuine snow in winter, all within 75 minutes of LA. Winter dates book earliest.

How do we actually book?

Two routes. Through the Giggster listing on this page, where the contract, payment, insurance and refundable deposit are handled for you — cancellation is free within 24 hours of confirmation if the shoot is more than 48 hours away. Or send an inquiry through the form below and deal direct. Either way you'll hear back within the hour.
